We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Lead (BDL) – Azure to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in selling Microsoft Azure professional services, cloud consumption, managed services, and cloud marketplace solutions to our clients. Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Inbound Opportunity Management: Qualify and triage inbound sales opportunities to ensure they align with business objectives and capabilities.
  • Outbound Pipeline Generation: Proactively create and manage a pipeline of potential sales opportunities through strategic outreach and engagement.
  • Account Mapping and Planning: Collaborate with CDW Sellers and Microsoft Azure Sellers to map and plan account strategies.
  • Pitch and Value Proposition Delivery: Effectively communicate the unique value proposition of Azure services to CDW sellers, OEMs, and suppliers.
  • Project Management: Oversee project kick-offs and follow up on project closures to identify additional opportunities within the customer base.
  • Teamwork: Exhibit excellent teamwork skills and collaborate effectively with coworkers across various departments.
  • Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships to generate opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline to track progress towards goals.
  • Revenue and Profit Goals: Assist the team in consistently exceeding category revenue and profit goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.


Education and/or Skill-Set Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years of experience working in an Azure or cloud technology sales role


The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Strong passion for technology and cloud computing, particularly AWS services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Experience in consultative sales, solution selling, and value-based selling methodologies.
  • Microsoft Azure certification(s) such as Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Fundamentals, Azure AI Fundamentals is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with sales and CRM tools, such as Salesforce is a plus.
