Job Description:
ECS is seeking a Senior AWS Engineer to support mission critical application development for the Department of Homeland Security. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for working closely with their respective Scrum Teams, Senior Architects, and customer leading innovation for architecture, tools, and practices within the AWS cloud.
Primary Duties:
Provide design, analysis, and implementation of Cloud Information Systems Architecture, preferably in more than one Cloud Service Providers that have a FedRAMP P-ATO.
Responsible for, or assists in, the designing of interface standards, quality assurance standards, performance standards, and cost-benefit analysis of modem state-of-the art information systems.
DevSecOps operations and CI/CD integration and support.
Implementation of Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code through Terraform and Ansible.
Performs analysis and review of available technologies and able to navigate recommendations of technologies to increase security and efficiency of the cloud environment.
Effective management of relationships with Federal System Owners and ability to navigate long term projects.
Responsible for deploying and configuring services using infrastructure as a service for AWS Cloud Leading emergency and Tier III level debugging efforts.
Identify growth opportunities and lead efforts to grow the customer footprint.
Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $155,000.00

Experience working with micro applications, React, java, Docker.
Relevant AWS certifications, including, but not limited to:
AWS Certified SysOps Developer Associate.
