In this important position, you will play a valuable role in the success of RealPage's risk and compliance team. You will work closely with the Transformation lead, Risk and Compliance Director, and VP of Risk and Compliance to drive and support transformation initiatives, ensuring that compliance and risk considerations are integrated into the overall transformation strategy. Your responsibilities will include managing daily risk monitoring, external reviews, and audits, and helping develop processes, workflows, and systems that align with compliance and risk programs. You will need to work collaboratively across functions and break through silos.
In addition, you will actively participate in identifying potential risk issues, creating internal controls and mitigations, and providing compliance advice and support to internal personnel involved in transformation initiatives. Your role will also involve contributing to the development of standardized metrics and reporting, analyzing data to identify risks and trends, and performing financial analysis to quantify RealPage's business risk exposure in measurable and actionable terms.
Primary Responsibilities
Daily Risk monitoring and reporting.
Identify and report on issues or related problems and potential risks and recommend risk mitigation actions.
Review and assist in audits, provide project plan, and process improvement.
Participates in compliance training.
Assists with KPI reporting for transaction monitoring program.
Assists Transaction Risk Manager in reporting for audits and examinations.
Participates in threshold validation of transaction monitoring software.
Assists the Transaction Risk Manager in employee work audit review.
Complete daily transaction reconciliation audit and error reporting.
Supports a Culture of Compliance for the company through communications and actions with peers, other lines of business, and vendors alike.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional experience may be considered in lieu of education.
CAMS certification.
Five plus years in audit, risk, or compliance in fintech, MSB, or financial institution.
Experience with the KYC/CIP process, including AML requirements, merchant card risk underwriting, and ACH risk exposure/underwriting.
Thorough knowledge of payment services operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls.
Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Timely, accurate and efficient processing of departmental reports, projects and tasks related to applicable regulatory compliance.
A strong influencer, motivator, and decision-maker with demonstrated ability to work effectively with people at all levels and across both internal and outsourced teams.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
General understanding of banking operations.
Ability to prioritize along with good time management skills.
Proficiency with MS Office.
