Responsibilities

Job Summary:

  • The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial analysis and reporting support for Ascension’s Capital COE.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the tracking of capital projects including planning, financial analysis and capital spend tracking.
  • Prepares and analyzes the monthly capital spend reporting and reconciliation. Use of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Syntellis (Kaufman Hall) Capital Tracking Software will be required.
  • Prepares, analyzes and ensures the accuracy of the capital project proformas in collaboration with Ministry Market Finance Teams.
  • Prepares, analyzes and ensures the accuracy of the financial and statistical reports for business case presentations and ad hoc requests for management.
  • Supports the development of Cash Available for Capital each quarter
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams across Ascension.
  • Other Special Projects as assigned.
  • Support the transition to Oracle, contributing to the successful execution of Project Voyager.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Masters in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience required
  • Financial analysis, budgeting experience and capital planning experience preferred.
