Your missions

Your mission

You will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding relationships with key clients. You will develop and execute sales strategies that align with our business objectives, ensuring consistent market growth and client satisfaction.

  • Client Relationship Management:You will develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that support their transition to regenerative agriculture.
    • You will win accounts and grow revenue with new customers and within existing clients.
  • Sales and Business Development:You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our client base and driving sales growth.
    • You will own the entire process from outreach to signed deals (and possibly beyond), managing large, complex deals throughout the full sales cycle.
  • You will prospect and manage senior-level relationships across multiple industries, with a focus on the food supply chain.
  • Market Research and Analysis: You will conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in regenerative agriculture.
  • Strategic Planning: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans that align with our business goals and client needs.
  • You will find solutions for offsetting customers along their supply chains.
  • Performance Tracking: You will monitor and report on key account metrics, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • You will represent Klim at industry events, broadening your network in the FMCG sector.
Your profile
  • You have a proven track record of success in sales roles and significant experience in fast-paced environments (startups, management consulting, investment banking).
  • Strategic Sales and Consultative Selling: You know how to craft tailored solutions, articulate the strategic value of carbon credits to different industries, and position offerings as part of a client’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies.
  • Relationship Management and Networking:You excel at building and maintaining long-term partnerships, with strong networking and relationship-building skills.
    • You are a highly emotionally intelligent person: empathetic, people-oriented, and skilled at building relationships with different personality types.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills. You are clear, concise, and persuasive, with strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
    • You are proficient in German and English. 
  • You have a strong bias for action and execution. You explore new opportunities and make sound decisions to drive the company forward.
  • Technical Expertise in Sustainability and Environmental Science: You understand carbon footprint calculations, greenhouse gas (GHG) protocols, and the science behind climate change and sustainability initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Carbon Markets and Environmental Policy: You have a solid understanding of global carbon pricing mechanisms, cap-and-trade systems, voluntary and compliance markets, and the regulatory landscape affecting carbon credits.
