Job Overview 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Development - Vietnam to lead and expand our business development efforts in Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and guiding the team in Vietnam, driving growth initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of strategic business goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new partnerships and develop existing ones.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team in Vietnam.
  • Develop and implement the regional business development strategy in alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Identify and prioritise key markets within Vietnam for business expansion.
  • Collaborate with other heads and departments to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the regional teams, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.
  • Set clear and measurable KPIs for the team and regularly monitor progress.
  • Analyse partners data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders on business development activities and results.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with partners to maximise their potential.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or any other relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership business development role in the Forex, FinTech, Crypto industry or other related industry.
  • Excellent command of the Vietnamese language and fluency in English.
  • Strong understanding of the Vietnamese market and cultural nuances.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial markets and preferably foreign exchange markets.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of Business Development professionals.
  • Great communication and writing skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills and confident phone conversation abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • Strong negotiation and pitching skills, and great listening skills.
  • Problem-solving with a positive, can-do approach.
