Job description

Job Description

This is an entry level role into the world of Oracle Food and Beverage Projects. Your primary purpose is to provide leadership on planning, staffing, and executing projects associated with Food and Beverage Consulting engagements across EMEA. You will work in conjunction with Consulting Sales Representatives, Delivery Managers, Resource Management, and other Team Leaders to deliver Oracle Food and Beverage solutions to our customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work under minimal supervision and demonstrate proactive work habits when overseeing the activities of Oracle Food and Beverage Consultants, and achieve results through strong subject matter expertise, leadership, collaboration, and teamwork. The ability to communicate effectively with team members and others within the customer organization is a must, and you will often coach other customers or partner personnel on best practices and technical issues You would be expected to be capable of delivering a tailored message to C-level customer or partner executives and providing layman’s explanation to non-technical customers as required.

Working as part of a small team of EMEA based project leads you will lead a number of concurrent deliveries, to continue the successful growth of the Food & Beverage business for Oracle on a daily basis. Projects typically include implementation of hardware and Simphony Cloud POS into restaurants, hotels, stadiums, cruise etc. Collaboration with your peers and the leadership team will be critical to help define and shape this delivery model.

You will be focused on customer success and will be results oriented. You will have the gravitas to engage with senior leaders and discuss delivery and business challenges. Organization, prioritization, and effective time management are essential to delivering to meet the needs of multiple customers across different projects. We are looking for a leader, a ‘doer’, with a vision & desire to help build a business model with a technical project delivery focus and mentality.

Experience of rapidly deploying food and beverage solutions into customer environments would be beneficial as well as history of working within project delivery teams to deliver successfully into customers, large and small. An understanding of the fast-paced world of hospitality, with a back ground of either operational or within a central office/planning role would also be useful to the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will become the local face of multiple Food and Beverage implementations and orchestrate delivery from the delivery team by:

  • Owning the delivery scope into a customer’s business
  • Being the delivery face (most likely via Zoom) of Oracle, managing delivery risks, issues, escalations, and delivery progress.
  • Own the delivery interlock with the Delivery team, Professional Services, and the customer.
