Job description

Overview:
The Java Developer plays a crucial role in our organization, contributing to the development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions. They are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications that support our business objectives and meet the needs of our clients and end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and secure code in Java.
  • Develop and integrate new software components into the existing ecosystem.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing software.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Proactively identify and address technical and functional gaps.
  • Ensure software quality through testing and validation procedures.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good hold on Java J2EE including spring, Hibernate, Microservice
  • Good hold on HTTP protocol and related technologies
  • Good understanding of deployment environments, configuration of applications, change management principles
  • Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge. HTML, XML, Web Services Knowledge of Application Servers, Web Servers. Ability to understand problems in software, debug and fix.
  • Experience in tools such as JIRA for bugs.
  • UI based technologies such as Angular JS, bootstrap, React
  • Sound knowledge of Computer Science areas and fundamentals
