About The Role & Team
The Marketing Strategy & Analytics Manager is the critical business partner to the Marketing team for Marketing strategy, planning, data, & analytics. Reporting into the Sr. Director of Marketing Strategy, Operations, & Analytics, this role leverages deep B2B data and analytics expertise to enable and drive maximum ROI from Marketing to execute our GTM strategy & achieve our GTM objectives.
 

Mission: Drive efficient GTM growth through analytics, data, and strategy

As a Marketing Strategy & Analytics Manager, you will: 

  • Strategic Planning: Partner with Marketing to develop and maintain the marketing strategy & integrated plan, aligned to achieve our GTM objectives.
    • Work with leaders to craft Marketing goals that ladder to company strategy, driving maximum impact from our Marketing investments & capabilities.
    • Enable teams with the data, insights and tools to craft bottoms up plans and identify risks and opportunities
    • Ensure that teams have the right forums to partner tightly with their regional/global cross-functional partners
    • Lead the analytics portion of Marketing and GTM rhythm of business including quarterly business reviews, weekly reporting and insights meetings, Pipeline Councils, and strategic initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Provide Marketing teams at all levels the data and insights needed to measure their business objectives. Leverage performance & productivity improvement through creative use of data & analysis.
    • Ensure that marketing teams and leadership have the right level of data, transparency and insight they require to achieve objectives.
    • Analyze and surface trends in our marketing funnel to all levels to understand what’s working, what’s not and where to pivot.
    • Partner with marketing leadership to use data insights to help define and refine short and long-term marketing strategy.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: 
    • Contribute to a high performing, highly engaged and talented team, aligned to our Amplitude culture and values.
    • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members to foster growth and expertise.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the marketing organization.
    • Partner cross-functionally with GTM Analytics, Sales Analytics, Customer Success Analytics, and FP&A professionals to develop data and insights strategies.
  • Data Management and Process: Partner with the rest of the Marketing Ops team in defining marketing processes, workflows, systems and data evolution to enhance efficiency, scalability and maximize ROI.
    • Help proactively identify issues with our systems/processes that are causing friction in our sales funnels and ensure there’s ownership to fix
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain data governance and data quality strategy, leveraging Snowflake and CRMA.
You'll Be a Great Addition to the Team If You Have:
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS in an analytics position, preferably supporting Marketing.
  • Strong development skills in SQL, Python, R, or equivalent.
  • Experience aggregating and organizing data from multiple cloud-based data systems
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
  • Experience working with and creating databases in Snowflake and dashboards using CRMA, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Robust problem-solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously.
  • Impressive communication and collaboration skills. Experience with Google Suite.
  • Experience with PLG a plus

Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $155,000 - $233,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $155,000 - $233,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $140,000 - $210,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $140,000 - $210,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
