Job Title: Contracts Manager (Health)
Job Description
Provide hybrid (in-person/work from home) advice to business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. Initiate, track, and monitor contract changes, deliverables, correspondence, and risks, and maintain associated documentation. This role includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions. Identify risks and issues, suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution.
- Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
- Prepare and disseminate information regarding proposals, contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
- Manage the contract day-to-day by advising on the strategic direction, contract interpretation, and consequences of action/inaction.
- Proactively resolve issues and disputes, minimize potential for litigation, and foster protection of the company's reputation.
- Act as a liaison between the client, project team and/or business unit, and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed.
- Responsible for implementation of contract management processes.
- Act as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
- Act as a liaison between the company and clients/vendors.
- Inform the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitor compliance.
- Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes for the engagement.
- Achieve a reasonable level of understanding of the company's major business areas (System Integration and/or Outsourcing) to communicate effectively with project Senior Executives and provide relevant advice.
- May provide training to Contract Management or program personnel.
Hard Skills
- 10+ years of Federal Contracts (not acquisition admins)
- Experience with Civilian: VAHA, Defense Health, HHS, NIH, CDC
- Cradle-to-grave contracts experience - Risk management
- Presenting to Executives and COs
Work Site
This is a fully remote position.
Work Environment
Must be able to go into Virginia to Chantilly or Arlington for executive meetings.
