Inside Sales Biotech Account Manager- Inchinnan- Glasgow

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong work ethic and motivation to join our team as an Inside Sales Biotech Account Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Glasgow, UK.

As an Inside Sales Biotech Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and building relationships with our valued biotech customers. You will have the opportunity to work with a world-class team, develop your sales skills, and contribute to the success of our ambitious sales targets.

This role is 4 days based from our Inchinnan Glasgow Site & 1 day remote

25% UK Travel & Occasional Sweden visits

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the biotech industry
  • Foster and nurture strong relationships with a diverse range of customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of sales strategies and initiatives
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Successfully manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts
  • Conduct market research to determine customer needs and preferences
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective customers
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures in all sales activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science relevant field.
  • 1-2 years Consistent track record of success in sales, preferably in the biotech industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Ambitious and self-motivated with a passion for achieving sales targets
