Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven sales professional with a passion for developing new business opportunities. About The Role

In this role, you will report directly to the Sales Director and be responsible for driving business development within your assigned region. Your primary focus will be on cultivating new clients and sales channels, leveraging your expertise to increase business opportunities and surpass sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand Client Accounts: Build and nurture relationships with key clients to increase business opportunities, improve project capture rates, and enhance project gross margins.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Use CRM tools to forecast sales accurately and achieve or exceed annual sales goals.
  • Transparency & Organization: Maintain clear visibility of sales activities and efforts through effective organizational tools.
  • Professional Representation: Uphold the company's values in all interactions, presenting a professional image.
  • Drive Revenue: Collaborate with wholesaler distributor accounts, contractors, and retail chains to boost revenue.
  • Educate & Train: Provide training and education on our products to contractors and wholesalers, developing a comprehensive sales/product training plan.
  • Develop Business Plans: Create and implement strategies to drive growth with wholesalers, coordinating with marketing, finance, and buyers.
  • Market Insights: Offer actionable insights and competitive intelligence to enhance the sell-through forecast process.
  • Respond to Inquiries: Address field inquiries related to product features, functions, and benefits.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with the Sales Director on pricing, authorizations, and specific requirements, and participate in regular sales meetings.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive sales experience with a track record of growth and success.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in HVAC-related sales is required. Familiarity with air handling units, indoor air quality, or regulatory compliance is a plus.
  • Sales Success: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals, with a strong understanding of B2B (capital) solution selling.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey sales strategies and engage stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and understanding their needs.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with other departments such as marketing and customer service.
  • Professional Qualities: High energy, drive, passion, tenacity, and a proactive mindset with a strategic and analytical approach.
  • Spanish Proficiency: Preferred but not required.
