Working within OVO’s Energy function, this role sits within the Renewable Energy Team.  We’re a team at the forefront of the energy transition, leading the charge to bring more renewable energy to our customers. This role sits within a team of experts on domestic renewable energy - who are leading OVO’s work to develop market leading propositions and tariffs for customers with renewable generation technology like solar panels at home.

 

This role in a nutshell:

You’ll be responsible for managing the accounts of some of our largest renewable generation customers. You’ll build brilliant long term relationships, by developing a deep understanding of the needs of these customers, and always working to deliver the best customer outcome. This is a brilliant role for anyone with a passion for providing great customer experience, and would suit someone looking to expand their experience or develop their career in the renewable energy sector.

 

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Operating as the main point of contact for commercial generators, you will develop and maintain long term relationships with commercial generators to deliver a first class customer experience
  • When issues arise - you will work to solve them proactively and comprehensively first time.
  • Embed customers at the heart of our processes and continuously seek out ways to improve and develop processes to better serve our customers
  • Develop an understanding of our contractual obligations and ensure we adhere to these in our processes and communications with our customers
  • Be responsible for planning and delivering your own workload within agreed timeframes
  • Prepare reports on key metrics associated with the customer base highlighting any areas of focus and potential risks or improvements (with support from team analysts)
  • Collect and analyse data concerning generator behavior to understand changing needs (with support from team analysts) 
  • Coordinate with colleagues and stakeholders across the business to ensure consistent service levels

We’ll pay you between £33,050 and £36,050, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!

We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.

You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
