Location: Remote in Poland

About the Role

 

Reporting to the Global SIOP Leader you will have the main responsibility of consolidating regional demand forecasts to ensure an effective and predictable Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process. The Regional Demand Manager will manage and develop an accurate demand forecast at the appropriate levels, horizons and intervals for your Region.  You will be accountable for monitoring the performance of the process and continually improving output and accuracy as well as assisting in developing the demand management process and rules governing acceptance of orders and commitment of supply.  You will be responsible for coordination and integration of the demand management process within our business systems.

 

About Your Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the overall demand management process within region.
  • Develop, optimized and standardize Corporate owned SIOP tool with global analyst team.
  • Data mining, mapping and cleansing, data standard work implementation.
  • Accountable for development, documentation and maintenance of the assumptions supporting the demand plan.  With the Demand Analyst, challenge the sales assumptions as appropriate.
  • Supports preparation and facilitation of Regional Demand Reviews, including consolidation and distribution of presentation materials, presentation of plans, meeting notes/action items, etc.
  • Follow up with required business stakeholders to resolve forecast issues and improve accuracy.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and develops scenario plans to optimize results.
  • Formally handover monthly demand plans to Supply Planners for fulfilment i.e. Demand and Supply balancing.
  • Develop demand plan based on business trends and demand patterns.
  • Recover SIOP demand planning process and implement HEX SIOP process within EMEA.
  • Schedule forecast review meetings with key stakeholders on regular cadence.
  • Update forecasts for new products, seasonal products, discounts, promotions.

 

What You Need

 

  • Ability to lead from the front, to drive change and collaboration and to work across different locations/sites and functions and with external customers and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning system and leadership skills, including the ability to generate enthusiasm, to motivate others and to achieve results.
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Operations Business, Engineering Supply Chain or Finance.
  • Understanding of SIOP principles and methods.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • ERP experience, preferably SAP.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
  • Experience with Lean tools and process simplification; professional certification, such as APICS, is a plus.
