ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
What you will do as Business Developer in Companjon 
  • Business Development Maverick: You've got a knack for spotting opportunities and closing deals. Your business acumen and proven track record in B2B2C business development across banking & Fintechs make you a force to be reckoned with. You're ready to identify new prospects, forge strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth like a rockstar.
  • Relationship Ninja: Building relationships is your superpower. You're a pro at nurturing connections with key stakeholders and Business Partners. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to understand their needs will set us apart from the competition. Ideally, you have an established relationship network that you can tap into to hit the ground running from day one.
  • B2B2C savvy: Understanding the unique needs of Business Partners is your passion and linking those needs to the right solutions within Companjon is what makes you successful. You like to get your hands dirty and love understanding what is most relevant to our Business Partners, even before you ever met them.
  • Collaboration Champion: Collaboration is at the heart of our success, and you're the champion we need. You thrive in cross-functional teams, leveraging the collective expertise and diverse perspectives of your colleagues. You're a natural collaborator that is fluent in English and ideally another major language, fostering an environment where teamwork and innovation flourish.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
What you will need to succeed 
  • Many years of sales experience and a large network in the Retail industry
  • Proven track-record for meeting and exceeding revenue targets and performance driven KPIs within a high paced startup or tech company
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B technology solutions business development
  • Experience in General Insurance products is a plus
  • Excellent deal and contract negotiation, problem solving and commercial structuring skills
  • First class communication skills, able to present, negotiate and influence at C-level
  • Ability to think laterally and explore creative solutions in both deal negotiation and customer solution design
  • Knowledge in cross-functional project development in an insurance context in different countries
  • Fluency in English and ideally another major European language
  • University degree in business or comparable qualifications
  • Experience in the digital economy (e.g., travel platforms) and digital solution design a plus
