Description

Are you ready to lead and innovate in the world of supply chain management? This is your chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment, overseeing supply chain operations and driving excellence across the board. You will be at the forefront of our supply chain operations, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of our global supply chain. Managing a team of supply chain professionals, you will optimize operations and lead efforts to streamline processes and enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team responsible for supply planning across all projects, ensuring inventory levels are met and customer service metrics are achieved.
  • Optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to manufacturing and from manufacturing to customers using lean principles and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely launches of new products, integrating consumer needs, competitive insights, and supplier input.
  • Manage supply chain reporting, track KPIs, and evaluate operational systems to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain flexible, innovative, and resilient manufacturing networks.
  • Identify and implement systems, processes, and reporting improvements to manage costs, material, demand, and exchange rate volatility.
  • Lead training events and meetings to boost productivity, improve reporting accuracy, and achieve business objectives.
  • Assist with acquisition or divestiture activities, budgeting initiatives, and contract interpretation.
  • Expect 25% travel to support various business locations.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred). Certification as a Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is a plus.
  • Experience: 8+ years in a capital equipment manufacturing environment with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Core Skills: Expertise in supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, contract management, budget planning, and negotiation.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and master production scheduling. Experience with Syteline is a bonus.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO-9000), strategic sourcing methodologies, and project management.
