About the role…

The Director of Partner Growth role will be responsible for expanding relationships with our existing partners, by showcasing ShopMy’s extensive offerings and strategically identifying additional opportunities for our clients. This leadership role is the first of its kind at ShopMy, focused on driving revenue growth by collaborating with partners to maximize their use of ShopMy’s platform, with an initial emphasis on our new Opportunities feature. In partnership with our Campaigns & Partnerships, Brand Growth and Client Strategy teams, you will drive net new revenue for ShopMy as we scale. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives at the intersection of elevated account management and strategic sales, and is eager to cultivate deeper partnerships with our clients.

We expect the compensation for this role to fall between $130,000 - $180,000 annually.

 

Roles and Responsibilities…

  • Develop and implement strategies to upsell existing partners, driving incremental revenue and maximizing monthly recurring revenue
  • Identify opportunities for revenue expansion within the current partner base by understanding their needs and aligning them with ShopMy’s offerings
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Growth, Client Strategy, and Campaigns & Partnerships teams to ensure seamless execution of upsell initiatives
  • Drive adoption of ShopMy’s new Opportunities feature, growing budget under management month-over-month
  • Work closely with ShopMy’s Product team to develop new feature sets that will provide additional value to brand partners, understand the upcoming feature roadmap, and translate features into compelling value propositions for partners
  • Own and monitor success metrics for new product launches, ensuring that brand partners are fully engaged with and committed to adopting new features.
  • Regularly engage with partners to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure they are maximizing the value and breadth of ShopMy’s platform
  • Drive initiatives that enhance partner satisfaction, retention, and loyalty
  • Track and analyze partner growth performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership
  • Stay apprised of broader market trends and client growth trajectories in order to pursue additional strategic partnership opportunities

 

Our non negotiables….

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
  • 7+ years of sales and account management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven ability to strategically advise C-Suite stakeholders
  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth through upselling and expanding existing partner relationships
  • Strong understanding of the brand and consumer goods industry, with a deep network of relevant contacts
  • Experience with product launches and driving feature adoption among partners
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make informed decisions on how we can grow with our partners
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and results-oriented approach - prior experience at a high-growth startup strongly preferred
  • Passion for the creator economy strongly preferred
