The Director, Client Partner is the linchpin in our client relationship management strategy, playing a critical role in the day-to-day management, strategic growth, and net retention of assigned Enterprise accounts. As a trusted advisor, this role involves the development of a deep understanding of our client’s business, identifying client marketing challenges and goals, developing solutions, and forging strong account relationships to foster growth.
As the Director, Client Partner you will:
Client Management & Leadership: Serve as the primary advocate and trusted advisor for clients within the agency, prioritizing their goals in strategic discussions, decision-making processes, and fostering strong, lasting relationships through consistent, strategic communication.
Client Advocacy: Act as the primary advocate for clients within the agency, ensuring their goals are prioritized in strategic discussions and decision-making processes
Relationship Building: Build and strengthen client relationships through consistent, strategic communication, becoming an indispensable business partner and advisor for their marketing strategies
Innovation Leadership: Champion innovative thinking within the team, inspiring the development of leading-edge solutions that drive client success and potentially win awards
Strategy & Planning Development:
Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive account plans that address client needs and align with their strategic goals, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention
Solution Development: Drive the creation and execution of innovative, data-driven integrated marketing solutions that directly address clients’ unique challenges and objectives
Insight Application: Maintain & utilize a deep understanding of the clients' business, vertical innovations, competitive landscape, industry trends, and KPIs to offer strategic guidance and impactful solutions
Campaign Management & Performance Monitoring:
Performance Measurement: Demonstrate the effectiveness of account strategies to clients, focusing on results, measurement, and continuous improvement through thoughtful, and easily understood, storytelling
Team Leadership and Development: Responsible for providing timely feedback, coaching, and evaluation of team members' goals and tasks, conducting weekly 1:1 meetings to offer ongoing support, ensuring adherence to scorecard tasks, effectively managing client relationships, delivering best-in-class products, fostering team building, and facilitating career growth through clear goal-setting, feedback loops, and educational development, while maintaining certifications and staying updated on industry trends and best practices through continuous learning initiatives. Some Director’s will oversee a team in the Solution’s department
Client Education: Equip clients with the knowledge and confidence to speak about strategic directions and decisions, reinforcing their trust in our expertise
Industry Expertise: Maintain and apply an in-depth knowledge of market developments, emerging trends, and best practices of the client’s business, and the industry overall, to enhance client strategies and recommendations
Professional Qualifications:
8+ years of experience managing accounts in a digital media agency environment
Demonstrated success in managing multiple large accounts and navigating multiple media channels
Strong ability to build relationships with key client decision-makers
In-depth knowledge of media channels, performance metrics, and KPIs
Proven track record of account growth and retention
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and present to client stakeholders effectively
Recognized as a trusted advisor, with a commitment to understanding and aligning with client objectives
