Senior Hotel Business Analyst, Customer Success (Remote)

Full-time, United States

As part of the Revenue Analysis group, you will collaborate closely with the team responsible for Stay, BCD’s comprehensive approach to hotel category management, providing data and analytical support through all stages of the customer success management life cycle. This includes collaborating with leadership on dashboard design and delivery to measure progress on overall program performance and contractual commitments. You will interact and engage with customer success managers as needed to review client performance. This role requires expertise in SQL to query and manage large datasets efficiently.

As a Senior Business Analyst, Customer Success, you will

  • Update and maintain client performance dashboards in Amazon QuickSight, consolidating data from relational databases using SQL scripting.
  • Update and maintain customer success performance reporting and various hotel spend management related Excel analyses.
  • Expand the existing reporting and dashboard portfolio in collaboration with leadership and the customer success team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the “story” the data and dashboards can tell and be able to effectively communicate that story verbally, visually and in written form.
  • Identify trends and provide recommendations to drive additional performance improvement.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting.

About You

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in business or finance with strong SQL skills.
  • Business travel industry and hotel spend management experience preferred.
  • Experience working with business intelligence software such as Amazon QuickSight, customer relationship management systems, and relational databases.
  • Advanced analytical skills. Ability to write logic and mathematical statements and basic algorithms.
  • Well experienced in MS Office suite especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate and interact with diverse, cross functional international teams.

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Hotel Business Analyst, Customer Success is between $74,000 and $87,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
