The role will be responsible for defining a framework for L&D Optimization, and then prioritizing the go-to areas for this fiscal year. The right candidate will possess the skills to develop an L&D optimization strategy, execute & implement a couple of prioritized areas, partner effectively with stakeholders, and follow up to influence and close on open items.
Responsibilities
Strategy Development: define a framework for L&D Optimization based on industry best practices and Microsoft learning strategy. Prioritize L&D areas that meet the optimization goals; these include processes, tools, and programs.
Effective Partnership: success also hinges on collaboration and effective partnerships with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, SMEs, and external partners.
Execution and Implementation: the role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The candidate needs to translate strategies into actionable steps and execute the defined steps.
Follow-up and accountability. Regular follow-up and progress tracking are crucial. These include a framework to monitor and evaluate, to communicate insights and recommendations; and to update stakeholders on progress of delivery and risk mitigation.
Qualifications
Strategic thinker
Extensive experience in L&D best practices, methodologies, tools, and trends
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment
Previous working experience with Microsoft preferred (will consider someone from another large tech company like Amazon/Google/Meta etc)
Must be able to work PST hours
