The McGraw Hill corporate web & ecommerce site (mheducation.com) is a critical communications and revenue channel for the company. With 22 million+ visitors per year, the site enables critical functions across the business—support, training, product discovery & sampling, purchase, B2B sales enablement, corporate communications, investor relations, and recruiting; Offers self-service for key tasks and enables anytime/anywhere access to products and services and is a growing channel with opportunity to reduce cost of service and sales.

How can you make an impact?

The Web/eCommerce Product Manager will facilitate the ongoing evolution and success of the corporate web site as well as help grow revenue via B2C eCommerce. The Product Manager will serve as a key leader in the web/eCommerce center of excellence helping to develop digital experiences that are purpose-driven and innovative, serving customers at key points in their journey online. This is a remote position open to applicants within the United States and requires up to 10% annual travel for the year.

What you will be doing:

  • Working with the director and key business stakeholders to define and execute the vision for the web/eCommerce experience
  • Creating a product roadmap and managing a backlog in support of this vision
  • Collaborating with partners in McGraw Hill business units to understand business needs and opportunities and translate them into features and enhancements
  • Partnering with engineering and systems owners to effectively execute against product roadmap and vision
  • Building a web/ecomm program that uses data and measurement to ensure accountability to outcomes, impact, and ROI

You should apply if:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree
  • 5-8 years of experience in a product owner or product development role
  • Knowledge of scrum and agile
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles and design quality standards
  • Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Strong project management skills, ability to juggle multiple projects and work with a variety of stakeholders and teams, including business and engineering teams
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and switching priorities and focus areas as needed
  • Creative and customer-focused
  • Familiarity with web and ecomm standards and best practices, including privacy compliance and accessibility principles, practices, and testing

The pay range for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan is provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
