Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead and embed an agile culture across multiple teams, ensuring a focus on delivery and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be methodology-agnostic and proficient in various Agile frameworks. This role involves coaching teams, facilitating agile ceremonies, managing workflow, and ensuring key metrics are met. You will work closely with stakeholders to prioritize backlogs, track metrics, and drive data-driven decisions, while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance Agile performance.

 

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

 

  • Foster an Agile environment focused on delivery and improvement.
  • Assess and enhance team processes, removing impediments and resolving conflicts.
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies and guide teams in best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior managers to create clear lines of escalation.
  • Apply and mentor teams on Agile principles and practices.
  • Ensure progress towards objectives and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with stakeholders for backlog prioritization and metric tracking.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience with a minimum of seven  (7+ )years of experience as a Scrum Master, with expertise in SAFe Agile concepts.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification 
  • Full time, remote position.
  • Proficient in facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and end-to-end offerings.
  • Expertise in servant leadership, conflict resolution, and transparency.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Criterion Systems, LLC, a Cherokee Federal company.

Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

  • PMP certification desirable.

Security Clearance Level

None; Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

 

Certification

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required; PMP is desirable.

 Work Schedule

Full-time remote

 

Pay Rate 

The projected compensation range for this position will commensurate with experience with a salary range of $135,000-$160,000.00. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Criterion Systems considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
