Role: Head of Delivery 

Location: New York (Remote-first)

Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee the full project life-cycle of CUBE’s end-to-end implementation projects from initial customer engagement, statements of work, project tracking and exceptional delivery.
  • Lead a team of project leads, technical leads and regulatory subject matter experts
  • Deliver customer excellence and on-time delivery.
  • Provide unrivalled customer service and retention, by exceeding expectations and proactively managing any issues arising during the relationship.
  • Coordinate, influence and ensure accountability across internal functions to ensure legal, financial and technical requirements are fully satisfied and approved for each customer engagement.
  • Maintain existing and develop new relationships with partners and subcontractors as necessary to ensure customers receive a high quality, aligned service proposition.

What we’re looking for: 

  • At least 8 years of experience of managing multiple complex projects and delivery of change and/or transformation within the financial sector; in particular, regulatory-driven initiatives OR driving implementation projects within a B2B SaaS environment tailored to financial services customers.
  • At least 5 years of experience in people management.
  • Strong understanding of large-scale programme delivery (Agile, DevOps, waterfall) – SCRUM qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Deep understanding of Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks with an expertise in the design and implementation of compliance / legal / risk management operating models for multi-jurisdictional financial services firms.
  • Proven-track record of working with diverse skillsets to serve client needs across large / complex organisations.
  • Extensive experience with regulatory compliance processes (e.g. horizon scanning, impact assessment, regulatory change delivery).
  • Experience working with data models, regulatory mapping, taxonomies, data lineage, etc.
  • Understanding of financial services regulations (e.g. MIFID II and FRTB. SFTR, EMIR, Dodd Frank, CSDR) would be desirable.
  • Prior experience working in consulting firms and /or technology vendors within financial services would be a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to organize and lead workshops and elicit business requirements with minimal supervision.

  • Collaborative work mindset and ability to influence internal / external stakeholders and prioritise Customer demands appropriately.
  • Understanding of digital transformation and capable of conveying key concepts and principles to your team and clients at multiple levels of seniority.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrating breadth and depth of knowledge.
  • Strategic and customer focused mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive and flexible attitude to work and a willingness to embrace new initiatives.
  • Ability to build trust by doing the right thing and commitment to rigorous professional standards.
  • Organised and passionate about building and delivering customer-centric propositions.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder communities with varying levels of experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong collaboration across a wide spectrum of colleagues, including internationally. A proven track record of working with offshore teams would be a major benefit.
  • High level of drive, commitment to achieving solutions and ability to work under pressure.
  • Intellectual strength / flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems, apply critical thinking, and rationalise these into workable solutions which can then be delivered.
