Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, our storage operations are currently spread across North America, and expanding as we develop, build, and acquire best-in-class cold storage facilities to serve our customers’ needs. 


What we’re looking for:

Envision Cold is growing rapidly and in search of experienced candidates for the position of Director of Business Development for our U.S./Mexico operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies.


In order to be considered, you must be fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) and ideally reside in/around San Antonio, TX.  A valid passport will also be required in order to travel between the U.S. and Mexico.


What you’ll do (including, but not limited to): 

  • Manage and oversee the Southern U.S/Mexico Sales Operations. 
  • Build strong relationships with clients, both legacy and prospective, to aid in growing and retaining their business. 
  • Develop and execute key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. 
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals. 
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends. 
  • Motivate, coach and train Sales Associates, set goals and hold team members. accountable, and provide feedback, rewards, and recognition. 
  • Oversee novel marketing efforts and build marketing products to diversify our brand across the industry.
  • Attend and represent the organization at trade shows, conventions and other events or networking opportunities. 
  • Prepare all documentation required for RFPs (Request For Proposal). 
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of key customer requirements and needs to optimize their network.
  • Input/Manage all new leads and opportunities via NetSuite CRM (including input of customer profile and projected annual revenue per pricing model)
  • Utilize approved Warehouse Rate Agreement (WRA) for every customer and ensure signed copy is archived in CRM
  • Negotiate contracts with both new and existing clients.
  • Continually propose solutions that align with existing customers’ objectives, thereby strengthening and expanding our relationships.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Ensure appropriate products and services are deployed appropriately to customers in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing departments to implement strategies for new services.
  • Assist in defining sales targets for regional account managers.
  • Keep up to date with internal and external developments.
  • Suggest new ways to increase sales.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts for both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing key account metrics.
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales opportunities that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepare business cases, proposals and agreements for all current and opportunity tender business
  • Propose potential yield opportunities on current customer base. Act on any adjustments as needed to rate.
  • Travel to off-site locations to meet with potential customers.
Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role: 

  • Minimum 5+ years’ of related experience as a Sales Executive, Sales Manager or similar in comparable industry. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field highly preferred. 
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets. 
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level. 
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. 
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services. 
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills. 
  • Excellent and effective communicator, with the ability to persuade others. 
  • Ability to demonstrate upward leadership. 
  • Must have or obtain a valid passport to travel across the U.S. and Mexico.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
