Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Assessor/Interviewer specializing in Mobile Applications with a focus on Xamarin to join our team. This advanced role involves evaluating technical candidates for various senior-level Xamarin development positions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and cultural fit. The ideal candidate will possess a deep expertise in Xamarin development methodologies, tools, and practices, along with a strong ability to mentor and guide the technical assessment process.
Responsibilities:
• Design and conduct comprehensive technical interviews and assessments for senior-level Xamarin development positions, ensuring a thorough evaluation of candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Develop and continuously update advanced assessment criteria and interview questions to reflect the latest Xamarin development trends, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the HR and development teams to understand complex role requirements, desired skills, and team dynamics, tailoring assessments accordingly.
• Provide detailed, actionable feedback and recommendations to the hiring team, playing a key role in informing hiring decisions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Xamarin technologies, tools, and practices, ensuring that assessments remain current and relevant.
• Facilitate in-depth technical workshops or discussions to evaluate candidates’ hands-on skills in a collaborative environment.
• Mentor and train junior technical assessors/interviewers, providing guidance on best practices and interview techniques.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the technical assessment process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in mobile development roles, with at least 5 years specializing in Xamarin development.
• Deep understanding of Xamarin, C#, .NET, Visual Studio.
• Experience with integrating Xamarin applications with backend services and APIs.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor others.
• Extensive experience designing advanced technical assessments and conducting technical interviews.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest Xamarin development trends and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced certifications in Xamarin or related mobile development technologies.
• Significant experience in a technical hiring or technical assessment role.
• Leadership or managerial experience in a mobile development team, with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding team members.
• Experience contributing to open-source Xamarin projects or communities.
• Familiarity with testing technologies such as NUnit, Xamarin.UITest, Appium, Mocha.
• Knowledge of native mobile development (iOS/Android) to understand and bridge gaps between Xamarin and native code.
