Job description

Job Title: Software Tester (C# + Specflow)
Experience Level: 6+ Years
Client: Infosys / British Petroleum (BP)
Location: Remote, and onsite whenever needed in Bengaluru / Hyderabad.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software development and product teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Design, develop, and execute automated tests using C# programming language and Specflow framework.
Perform manual testing when necessary, ensuring thorough coverage of all test scenarios.
Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Continuously improve the testing process and methodologies.
Provide accurate and timely reports on test progress, coverage, and defects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Strong proficiency in C# programming language.
Experience with Specflow or other behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

ISTQB or similar software testing certifications.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
