Responsible for facilitating the coordination and development of various initiatives and projects within the Office of Spiritual Development (OSD).
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Responsible for the coordination and development of project and event administration within LU Serve.
Coordinate and facilitate LU Serve Special projects, events, and operational processes.
Facilitate and provide effective communication to vendors, guests, and internal departments for delegated Special projects and events.
Assist with planning, budgeting, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring the work and progress of Special projects and events.
Develop relationships with existing event vendors and create prospective ones.
Assist with sponsorships for various LU Serve events through administration and direct sales engagement.
Coordinate project development and event activities with other essential Liberty departments for planning and execution.
Assist with the on-campus promotion of all LU Serve student events and experiences, including but not limited to Serve Expo, Global Focus Week, Serve Lynchburg, and other special events.
Provide administrative support for the processing of the Loan Repayment Program.
Work with the Associate Director of Special projects to develop on-campus relationships with key faculty and staff for project and event engagement.
Provide administrative support to assess the quality of LU Serve programs and opportunities.
Remain abreast of all leading technologies, processes, and engagement for best hospitality and event management.
As directed, serve as a team leader for CSER student group trips and Serve Now group trips.
Work effectively as a team member of LU Serve, embracing and fostering the mission and events of OSD and Liberty University.
Required & Preferred Qualifications And Credentials
Education and Experience:
Four-year college degree or the equivalent
2-3 years+ experience in professional training
Preferred Experience:
Master’s degree
3 years+ experience in a business or non-profit organization

Work Environment
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted, and the noise level is moderate.
Driving Requirements
Use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) is required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position. Occasionally required to travel to local locations. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
