Job description

Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer (Home Configure-3D Pod)to be part of revolutionizing these industries.

Our Software Development Team builds and supports a suite of applications. Our flagship product is now a web application hosted in the Azure cloud ecosystem in a SaaS model. It uses a web front end built with JQuery, React, HTML, and CSS, talking to back-end APIs and services built in .NET and Postgres. These interoperate with the desktop application version of the product, also built with .NET and Postgres. We also have major products written in Java. Finally, we need someone with Game Design Software experience – not building games, but for rendering models for our Home Configure product.

What You Will Do:

  • You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of teams & projects, you might enhance and maintain code for the web front end, back-end APIs, services or desktop applications.
  • You will delve deep into the development engine to turn our model data and our artistry creations into stunning 3D models for prospective homeowners.
  • You will identify and guide on web standards, you may be doing complete new builds or redesigning on legacy code.
  • You will provide balance between the front & the back, to ensure seamless integration.
  • You will get to see the big picture and understand the architecture, but are comfortable with peer code review, supporting released code and providing patches.
  • This role is a good mixture of team brainstorming/work and individual work product.
  • In this role we may pull you into client meetings as the SME-it’s an opportunity to really see how your work will be used!
  • You will provide accurate and punctual time management and time tracking of projects.
  • You will help us grow-we need to plan & implement structures for scalability.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), or equivalent professional experience.
  • You will need critical thinking, including creative development skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills.
  • You have experience developing in a modern IDE.
  • You need to be dependable, organized and enjoy working in a changing/fast paced environment. We are Agile!
  • You can take direction and work independently to creatively meet business objectives.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Most roles at Paradigm have three levels, Associate, Mid and Senior. Our pay ranges are inclusive of all three levels (if applicable), our US based Associate level pay begins at $60,000/annually for this role.
