All about the role:


Reporting into the Channel Manager – Pureplay, and working closely within this team, the National Account Manager is responsible for the implementation of account plans for Amazon and Argos across all product categories.


What you'll do:


  • Manage and maintain an appropriate product mix, with the overriding principle to maximise sales, volume, and profitability to generate value
  • Plan marketing and sales promotion activities with the customers and marketing manager
  • Brief Product Line, Training, and Marketing teams on promotional requirements to achieve maximum return
  • Resolve customer management issues promptly and effectively
  • Liaise with Product Line and Finance teams
  • Provide reporting and analysis for the Head of Channel and SCM, along with ensuring that all the data requirements of the account are met
  • Support cross-channel category management approach


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in Business Administration, Management, or a related field)
  • Sales experience within a commercial, consumer goods company, preferably with prior experience in working with Amazon and Argos
  • Business acumen and business analysis and numerical interpretation
  • Open, ambitious, and keen to grow by learning and development
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Resilient, honest, and highly motivated
  • UK driving licence


Where you'll be:


The role will be field based with occasional business travel across the UK, however the candidate should live within a commutable distance to Luton as there is a requirement to work from the office on a weekly basis.
