100% REMOTE - candidate can sit anywhere in the US
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm CST

MUST have strong SQL experience and regulatory reporting experience

Day to Day Responsibilities will include -
o Building and delivering reports
o Data analysis and validation
o Documentation of processes and changes to requirements
o Working with business owners and other team members to resolve data issues and identify data issues an risks

The Report Developer/Analyst will support Molina Healthcare of Texas's Health Plan Operations organization.

Essential Functions:
• Responsible for the generation and preparation of reports for regulatory and compliance submission including scheduled (quarterly, monthly, weekly, etc) reporting and ad-hoc requests.
• Write and maintain SQL database stored procedures, views and functions
• Automate recurring reports, data transformations, data imports, and data exports
• Generate and distribute standard reports on schedule using SQL, Excel, and other reporting software
• Use peer-to-peer review process and end-user consultation to reduce report writing errors and rework
• Identify and complete report enhancements/fixes; modify reports in response to approved change requests; retain old and new report design for audit trail purposes
• Analyze data sets and trends for anomalies, outliers, trend changes, and opportunities
• Create comprehensive workflows for the production and distribution of assigned reports; document reporting processes and procedures
• Assist with completion of special projects as requested by various internal departments, or in support of requests from regulatory agencies, contracting agencies, or other external organizations
• Demonstrate Healthcare experience in Quantifying, Measuring and Analyzing Financial and Utilization Metrics of Healthcare

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• SQL
• Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel and Access)
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, CPT and HCPC (preferred)
• Knowledge of computerized claims processing system(s) (preferred)
• Demonstrate ingenuity, self-reliance and resourcefulness
• Ability to take action without instructions using attained business knowledge
• Ability to work independently and work well with both internal and external customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to abide by Molina's policies
• Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in reporting or analytics
• Healthcare background strongly preferred
