Hour Consulting is seeking an experienced, passionate and driven Product Manager - SEO with extensive experience in SEO and Digital Marketing to lead the expansion and success of a cutting-edge mobile app product's user base. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of the product's growth initiatives, ensuring the successful activation and implementation of the user acquisition plan.
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of robust on-page and off-page SEO strategies, manage digital marketing campaigns, and source external contractors for both tech and non-tech needs. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our in-house tech teams to optimize our product offerings for search engines, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.
What you will be doing:
User Growth & Acquisition: Set, monitor, and achieve aggressive user growth and acquisition targets. Utilize the latest SEO methods and digital marketing strategies tailored to the Canadian market to drive significant user base expansion.
SEO Management: Manage a team of SEO contractors and content writers, ensuring the execution of strategies that significantly increase organic search traffic and convert visitors into engaged users. Oversee advanced technical SEO changes to optimize site performance. Leverage cutting-edge SEO techniques to drive user acquisition and engagement.
Expansion Strategy: Lead the strategic expansion into new provinces and cities. Develop and execute growth plans that effectively establish and scale the company's presence in these key regions.
Metrics & Performance Analysis: Utilize Google Analytics and other web analytics tools to track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, conversion rates, and user engagement. Continuously monitor performance data to identify trends, measure the success of SEO initiatives, and provide actionable insights that inform ongoing optimization efforts. Develop and maintain regular reporting dashboards.
Contractor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with external tech and non-tech contractors to support SEO initiatives and digital marketing efforts.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with technology and operation teams to ensure seamless integration of SEO best practices into product development and content creation.
Experience and Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, Digital Marketing or relevant area
Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Demonstrated hands-on experience crafting and implementing robust SEO strategies that drive substantial user growth and acquisition. Possesses deep knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors, with strong proficiency in A/B testing, On Page SEO, keyword research, and content optimization techniques.
Digital Marketing: Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, with demonstrable experience in leveraging these channels for growth, particularly in the Canadian market.
B2C Product Experience: Experience in successfully growing consumer brands and engaging target audiences in competitive markets.
Metrics & Performance Analysis: Demonstrated ability to track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
Proven Success: Previous experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering successful growth and user acquisition results is essential.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Canadian Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Canadian market, with real estate experience would be a bonus!
