Data Integration Engineer (m/w/d)

• Design, develop and implement data integration solutions to seamlessly integrate various external data sources and customers into our core data platform.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand data requirements, define integration strategies and ensure they meet business objectives.
• Support Data Scientists in productizing models and optimizing data pipelines for scalability and efficiency.
• Utilize technologies such as Azure native cloud services, Talend Data Integration, Kubernetes, Python, Postgres and other common databases to design robust and scalable data solutions.
• Implement best practices for data management, data quality and data security during the integration process
• Monitoring data pipelines, troubleshooting and implementing proactive measures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data integration capabilities.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field or relevant work experience in data integration
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions in a cloud environment, ideally using Azure native services.
• Proficiency with data integration tools such as Talend Data Integration or similar ETL tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation, automation and scripting tasks.
• Experience working with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes to deploy and manage data applications.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g. Postgres) and SQL queries.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
