Job Summary:

Summary

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s marketing strategy.  This role builds, manages, and executes all dealer communications and loyalty programs, along with the greater brand strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop marketing strategies that align with the company's goals. This includes analyzing the market and competitors, identifying target markets, and setting objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner with the sales team to develop meaningful content and a calendar of events and campaigns to drive dealer engagement - both at a regional and national level.
  • Work with the sales and risk teams and other stakeholders to develop and manage the Dealer Loyalty Program, ensuring proper ROI and dealer engagement.
  • Build brand awareness and brand identity across the US, while overseeing all dealer communications across all channels.
  • Manage the marketing and dealer support team, ensuring success across KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Manage the spend of the marketing budget to get the best return on investment.
  • Provide ongoing strategic direction and guidance on marketing methodologies and processes, and manage against organizational objectives.

Candidates for this role must display exceptional professional interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact and collaborate with Product, Tech, Risk, Sales, Web Design Team, L&D, HR, and outside parties. We seek someone who can work independently but also be highly collaborative and a team player.

  • Accountable for hitting ROI and loyalty goals, along with marketing communication metrics
  • Maintain strong reporting and accountability against numbers, driving to exceed goals, while developing and managing multiple programs

Qualifications

  • Successful track record in senior marketing role and campaign creation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in digital and print marketing and content marketing
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
  • Knowledge and expertise in marketing and communication tools (email management, CRM, etc)

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) in a marketing or business related discipline or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum of ten (10) years prior senior management experience in marketing

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in ecommerce, automotive, or finance industries
  • Experience managing loyalty programs

Supervisory Responsibility

Will have direct supervisory oversight of three to eight managers and indirect oversight of 3-8 individual contributors.

Language Ability

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in person, in writing and by telephone.

Computer Skills

Proficient in use of SalesForce, Email Marketing Solutions Software, MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Access, SharePoint, Google Suite
