WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Senior National Account Manager - Retail Partners

The Senior National Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding high-profile partner relationships to drive revenue growth and maximize sales opportunities. The Sr. National Account Manager represents the entire range of Vetsource services and offerings to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. The Sr. National Account manager is responsible for understanding and navigating the basics and complexities of Vetsource services and creating mutually beneficial growth opportunities. These services include pharmacy applications, technology integration solutions, fulfillment and routing of pharmacy requests.

This is a full-time, remote position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key decision makers in assigned retail accounts.

  • Lead account planning to develop partner strategies with clear and measurable objectives, plans, and timelines to achieve sales, profitability and company revenue goals.

  • Collaborate and work cross functionally with multiple internal teams such as software engineering, project management, accounting, and marketing to meet the needs of the partner and ensure successful delivery of account plans.

  • Proactively explore strategies and tactics to further integrate with the customers and leverage the full suite of Vetsource properties and capabilities.

  • Develop and maintain business relationships through fully understanding customer requirements and how our products and services satisfy those needs.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services. Effectively communicate product benefits, features, and competitive advantages to retail partners.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or related field or equivalent experience/training.

  • Minimum of 6-8 years sales experience in direct B2B Sales and experience in animal health industry managing large accounts.

  • Experience in the pet industry, pharmaceutical, or animal health.

  • Omnichannel experience.

  • Ability to understand and explain complex software products, features, and technical specifications.

  • High degree of technical business expertise with pet products or solutions.

  • B2B2C sales experience preferred.

Pay range (US based applicants): $110,993 - $140,000 (annualized)

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, certifications, relevant education and training, while also considering internal equity.
