Circa £30k, depending on skills and experience

Full time/37 hrs a week/permanent

Location:  Thorpe Wood House, Peterborough

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Team Co-ordinator to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic, varied opportunity which offers someone the potential to grow and develop their skills, either within the team or the business.

You will provide direct support for the Head of Commercial Procurement (HCP) and wider team, to ensure effective support and co-ordination of various tasks, meetings and projects to enable delivery of team objectives.   

What you’ll be doing:

  • Scheduling meetings, workshops and events for HCP

  • Provide support to HPC and wider team in coordination or meetings, workshops and events where complex co-ordination is required.

  • Attendance in meetings where required to ensure minutes and actions are taken and issued in timely and accurate manner

  • Co-ordination and support HCP with both internal and external report writing and general communications to ensure timely dissemination of information

  • Assist with on-boarding new team members and HR-related tasks

  • Assist in planning, organising and delivery of projects when required.

  • Maintain schedules, milestones and deliverables

  • Liaise with team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration

  • Monitor progress and identify issues or risks and escalate where required

  • Assisting in maintaining records and filing systems to support compliance

  • Support team members to ensure all briefings, training and compliance is completed

  • Support HCP in all compliance and reporting responsibilities where required

What does it take to be successful?

  • Proficient in using all office software

  • Previous experience in similar co-ordinator and administrative role

  • Previous experience in a technical business environment

  • Previous experience in payments and processing and/or SAP finance

  • Previous experience of H&S support

  • Experience of working across multiple teams and managers

  • Adaptability and a willingness to take on new responsibilities 

  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

  • Strong organisation skills

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Engagement and stakeholder management

  • Strong communication skills

  • Able to work with multiple interfaces

  • Willingness and drive to learn, be self-motivated and good timekeeper
