Description

ActioNet, a leading provider of advanced IT solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Architect to join our team, contributing to our success by designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions.

The Senior Network Architect will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced network solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of current network products from industry leaders such as Cisco, Tellabs, and others. They will be proficient in leveraging Digital Twins, operating in cloud environments, and implementing reinforced Software Defined Networking (SDN). A deep understanding of Zero Trust architectures is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits to various bases to assess current infrastructure, identify gaps, and gather requirements directly from stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors, ensuring the timely procurement and integration of hardware and software solutions.
  • Coordinate and oversee the deployment of network components across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with project timelines and standards.
  • Provide detailed reports and briefings to senior leadership and government officials on project progress, technical challenges, and proposed solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness and ability to travel to various military bases and project sites as required, sometimes on short notice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with military personnel, vendors, and team members.
  • Experience in vendor management, including negotiating contracts, overseeing performance, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements, maintaining focus on project goals and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
