In The Role

Our team is currently looking for a Placement Coordinator with expertise in IT professions (QA, SE, Data Science, and Analytics) and the US job market. The main goal of a Placement Coordinator is to help our graduates connect with employers and job opportunities in their local or regional job market.

You will develop and maintain positive partnerships with community employers and serve as a liaison between job-seeking graduates and employers. Your ability to readily assess our graduates’ skills and talents and match and market them with the pipeline of job leads you will develop is essential. You will ensure all job seekers feel fully supported throughout their active job search.

What you will do:

  • Build effective relationships with local and regional employers, non-profits, government organizations and community partners to identify employment opportunities for students and alumni;
  • Locate new employment sites, maintain contact with employers, and coordinate placement activities (resume submittals, interviews, etc.). Document all employer relations activities in customer relationship management system (CRM);
  • Solicit and follow up on job orders from employers;
  • Establish and maintain a professional relationship with students and graduates;
  • Interview students/graduates to determine interests, skills, strengths, and opportunities; advise on employment choices;
  • Maintain contact with graduates by generating follow-up calls, e-mails, texts, etc. to ensure accurate and timely updates of graduates’ employment information;
  • Provide graduates with job leads and track information in CRM;
  • Collaborate with the TripleTen team to enhance our career products and improve user experience;
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • You have 2-5 years of experience in a similar role (career services preferred or employment background in any of the following: job placement at a vocational school, college, or university; staffing agency, or recruiter; or experience working with Workforce Solutions or similar organization);
  • You have strong persuasion and networking skills;
  • You are a people person: someone who can listen and provide constructive feedback;
  • You are an inspiring leader who will be able to motivate a group of job seekers;
  • You are extremely well organized, detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure;
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Extra credit if you have previously worked in tech industry;

What we can offer you:

  • Full Remote, FTE Salaried position
  • $50k - $60k base salary plus up to $5k in achievable quarterly bonuses. OTE is $70k - $80k.
