Our Tutors are the role models for the students studying on our Data Analytics program. They mentor students, help them with difficult concepts and assignments, teach them the skills necessary to be a great DA professional. They guide students through the program and into their future careers, making sure all students get the most out of both regardless of their background.

What you will do:

As a tutor you will be a big part of students’ educational process and will:

Mentor students during 1-1 video calls; you’ll be dealing with different questions from students including a deeper explanation of certain concepts, tools or skills, supporting and navigating students in their assignments.
Communicate with students via video during group Q&A sessions for “drop-in” questions.
Host webinars and other educational events for groups of students (about the content covered in our program, extracurricular skills, career and industry knowledge), or attend other non-educational meetings with students.
Share your professional expertise and best industry practices with the students.

Requirements:

What we are looking for:

You have 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics.
You can explain topics in Python, Python libraries, SQL, statistics, mathematics, and data visualization tools in a way that is understandable for beginners.
You know how to perform a/b testing.
You are ready to dedicate 10-15 hours a week (or slightly more if you wish) to this project, sometimes on weekends.
You are passionate about your profession, the DA field and it’s development.

We appreciate it if you have:

2+ years of experience working in the tech industry in Israel.
Teaching or tutoring experience.
Experience the basics of Machine Learning.
Your own experience as a student online, and the desire to help create the best place in the world to study Data Analytics.

What we can offer you:

Pay rate of $45-50 per hour.
Remote, part-time work (10-15 hours per week, up to 20 hours per week can be discussed, please keep in mind that this is a Service Agreement position).
A schedule that’s convenient for you, there isn’t a focus on micromanaging.
Free in-house training on how to be a great tutor and role model for students, choose the appropriate tone of voice when communicating with students, improve soft skills.
