ECS is seeking an Agile Analyst to work remotely or in our Washington, D.C. area office.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an innovative and experienced Agile Analyst to join our team in the Washington, DC area or remotely. In support of the Department of Homeland Security, the Agile Analyst will assist with training, mentoring, coaching, and solutioning to build tools in Atlassian that will be used across departments to help multiple teams move forward in their Agile transformation. The Agile Analyst will be expected to help facilitate training sessions, drive solutions to automate team assessments and dashboards, mentor and coach to provide insights, and help teams as they progress towards Agile maturity.

About the Job:

  • Collaborate with Agile Transformation team members to recommend solutions and articulate what is needed and why (stories) along with acceptance criteria.
  • Assist with content building of Agile 201 training workshops on how to implement Agile practices.
  • Assist with facilitation of Agile 101 and 201 training sessions, providing input for new topics and staying up to speed with industry trends.
  • Proactively observe teams to provide insights for improvement and to champion team strengths.
  • Focus team coaching sessions based on a combination of Atlassian metric data and observing team dynamics.
  • Drive improvements in the Atlassian suite of tools to enable scaled Agile teams and processes.
  • Model how teams may use Atlassian data during retrospectives and other agile ceremonies to drive performance improvement and become self-organized.
  • Teach teams valuable skills that lead toward the organization’s adoption of scaled Agile methodologies.
  • Provide hands on support to all members of the team and stakeholders, collaborating across functional teams as needed to be a catalyst for growth and maturity.
  • Present team level Agile maturity progress updates to team members and federal managers.
  • Bring creativity and experience to other ways of helping the client, particularly with Atlassian tools.
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and develop and deepen long-lasting client relationships.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000

Required Skills:

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of applicable experience.
  • 3+ years of Scrum Master, Agile Business Analyst, or Agile Coach experience.
  • 3+ years of Atlassian Suite experience.
  • Process improvement and customer experience solutioning.
  • Agile certification and / or experience with scaled Agile.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Desired Skills:

  • SAFe certification.
  • Experience working in a remote / hybrid environment.
  • Federal government consulting experience.
  • Digital transformation experience.
  • Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence) administration - customization and configuration.
