e-Commerce Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical-minded individual to join our e-commerce team as a Data Analyst. This role will primarily focus on managing, organizing, and analyzing data using Google Sheets to derive insights that drive informed business decisions and optimize our online retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Organization: Create and maintain structured and efficient data sets in Google Sheets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for various team members.
• Reporting Development: Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards using Google Sheets to track key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, inventory levels, and other relevant data points.
• Data Analysis: Utilize advanced functions, formulas, and pivot tables in Google Sheets to analyze large datasets, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to understand data requirements and provide support for data-driven decision-making processes.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, reporting processes, and automate routine tasks within Google Sheets to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular data audits to ensure data integrity, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and implement corrective measures when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in data management, analysis, and reporting, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and SQL is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Significant experience and expertise at Google Sheets
• Experience with other data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and understanding of online retail metrics.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
