Job Description

The DGG Remote Sales Organization is a team of Diagnostic & Genomics sales specialist designed to protect, expand, and grow revenue for the Agilent Diagnostic & Genomics Group (DGG). Through the implementation of strategic remote sales initiatives and strong collaboration with the field sales, marketing and service organization, the Remote Account Manager will work with targeted clinical diagnostic & research customers to sell a broad range of Genomics and pathology products that include, reagents, instruments, software, and services.  

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for selling company products/ and/or services, including instruments, services, consumables and applications, to end-user customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts primarily through inbound and outbound telephone sales activities.

  • Acts independently or as part of a sales team and may support a field sales team.

  • May act as sole sales representative for assigned territory, industry, accounts, or products.

  • Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.

  • Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers.

  • Responsible for closing the sale on systems and products by talking to customer via digital means - telephone, email, online store, webchat.

  • Requires application of in-depth technical knowledge of products, including contracts.

  • Drive customers to purchase via Agilent’s online store.

  • Carries team or individual quota.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent

  • 4+ years relevant experience, preferably in genomics or medical device sales

The US pay range for this full-time position is $44.93 - $74.88/hr, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position across the relevant US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
