Job description

This is a remote position.

This position offers a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to elevate their career. Reporting to the regional head of Europe project development, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver battery storage projects.

B. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identify and manage the development of C&I and utility-scale Battery Storage/Solar plus Storage projects, including overseeing site control, interconnection, and permitting processes.
  • Direct project development activities to achieve Notice to Proceed (NTP) status by managing relationships with stakeholders such as developers, authorities, landowners, grid operators, offtakers, and advisors.
  • Lead deal structuring and commercial negotiations for project acquisitions or partnerships, such as development services agreements or joint development agreements.
  • Coordinate tasks and inputs from supporting functions, including Legal, Technical Solutions, Finance, and Project Delivery.
  • Oversee financial modeling to evaluate project economics.
  • Prospect and secure suitable greenfield and brownfield sites.
  • Stay informed on market developments and industry policies/regulations to swiftly identify business opportunities.
C. Requirements:
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing commercial transactions with landlords, developers, utilities, technical advisors, regulatory agencies, and offtakers.
  • BS degree required; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Solar/Storage industry, regional regulations, and market mechanisms.
  • Additional advantageous experience includes IPP project acquisition, community solar, national and regional grid analysis, multinational environments, legal expertise, and full-cycle development.
