Job Opportunity

SWTCH is currently seeking a Commercial Bid & Proposal Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will play a crucial part in driving our market expansion strategy across Canada and the United States. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial acumen and a keen eye for detail, with a focus on crafting compelling bid proposals to secure business opportunities in the commercial sector.

 

Responsibilities

Commercial Bid Opportunity Assessment

  • Evaluate commercial bid invitations, requests for proposals (RFPs), and other solicitations to discern project requirements, objectives, and evaluation criteria.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities associated with each bid opportunity.
  • Prepare comprehensive bid-related documentation, including executive summaries, bid outlines, project plans, and supplementary materials.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and finance teams, to gather pertinent information for bid evaluation.

Commercial Bid Preparation

  • Assist in formulating a robust bid response, encompassing pricing models, technical solutions, and value propositions, to optimize the likelihood of securing commercial contracts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect inputs and insights for bid preparation, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and requirements.
  • Review and interpret bid criteria to ensure compliance and tailor proposals to effectively address client needs.
  • Take ownership of the bid response process, ensuring adherence to all pre-bid requirements, compilation of relevant content, and timely submission of deliverables.

Commercial Bid Management and Coordination

  •  Facilitate the ongoing management of commercial bids, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines and timely submission of all required documents.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to streamline communication and information flow throughout the bid lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial bid analysis, preferably within the EV or clean energy industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership qualities.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Comprehensive writing skills with a keen attention to detail.

Annual Salary Range

CAD $65,000 - $85,000
