Your missions

Position Summary

Reporting to the Sales Manager – South Korea. Account Manager-South Korea is responsible for ownership of an established South Korea account base and new account development in the Industrial Power Train OEM, and End User markets. The primary role of this position is to achieve orders intake target & build project funnel through designed strategy, which includes understanding market, sales process, and sales goals, conducting day to day business development activities to build relationship with customer, addressing customer issues, quality topics and achieving business growth, as well as exploring new business opportunities proactively.

Responsibilities

  • Drives business development & sales initiatives for South Korea market
  • Creates and executes tactical sales initiatives in alignment with regional sales leadership team
  • Increases business among existing clients and promotes the organization to key accounts to meet and exceed order intake targets
  • Provides management with market trends and competition information used to evaluate new opportunities
  • Manage OEM & end user relationships to grow the business and increase share-of-wallet from potential accounts
  • Improve Regal Rexnord Industrial Powertrain products & solutions market share in the territory under responsibility
  • Implement effective Go-to-market strategy  
  • Drive cross selling & powertrain solutions opportunities
  • Collect updated market information about competitors, customers, products, and vendors
  • Improve internal processes and local customer support
  • Address customer issues, coordinate on quality topics to customer’s satisfaction
  • Implementation of Funnel Management through Salesforce.com
  • Track Accuracy Sales forecasting through SFDC; Track activity and analyze opportunities by utilizing SFDC + drive closing rates
  • Identifying customer needs and relate them to new solutions and/or services
  • Conduct product overview & technical trainings to customers to drive competency and awareness
  • Build trust and effective communication with leadership and provide necessary reports
  • Coordinate with Product & Vertical teams to provide faster response and support to key accounts
  • Build good relationship among colleagues
  • Adhere to company values through the right behaviors and actions
  • Other tasks company assigned

Experience and Skill Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or above: Mechanical or related major
  • Sales experience especially in Turbo, Pump OEMs, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Heavy Industry, Marine
  • Product knowledge & experience in Power transmission products (like Couplings, Clutch & Brakes, Industrial components, etc)
  • Experience to manage businesses with major key accounts, eg:
  • Fluent in Korean language
  • Good written and oral English language skill
  • Self-driven and motivated; Flexible on working hours
  • Strong ownership and good attitude; Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Goal oriented/results driven; Highly organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer experience required: Excel, PowerPoint, CRM software, Outlook
  • Has rich sales experience in the Power transmission or similar industry. Product knowledge is a must
  • Work experience in a multi-national organization would be preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of technical & sales experience in South Korea
