Brown & Brown is seeking an Associate Account Executive for our team in Phoenix, Arizona!

This team is currently working in a hybrid capacity with work from home opportunities after a probationary period.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Service Small Commercial Accounts primarily under $2,500 in revenue

  • Begin CISR or CRIS Designation Program

  • Obtain exposure and operation updates from the client

  • Get renewal applications and copies or prior applications

  • Order current loss runs and other documents needed in the renewal/marketing process

  • Submit complete and accurate renewal information to the incumbent carrier(s)

  • Negotiate and obtain quotes

  • Prepare the proposal for the producer

  • Make sure the Insurance Coverage Review is completed,

  • Bind coverage with the carrier(s) in accordance with the client’s instructions

  • Issue binders, auto id cards and order renewal certificates of insurance

  • Get Signed forms – including applications, Non-Admitted, Co. request forms, Supplemental applications etc.

  • Provide services or coordinate carrier services as needed, such as: claim reviews, loss control visits and services and premium allocations

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

  • Exceptional telephone demeanor

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Property & Casualty Insurance License, Required

  • Independent insurance agency experience (preferred)

  • 3+ years insurance experience (preferred)

  • Planning/organizing/problem- solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills
