Surgical Solutions Manager - Cambridge and West Anglia

In order to achieve this, we are looking for a Surgical Solutions Manager to support accounts in the Cambridge and West Anglia area. Ideally you would live in or around this region to travel through the territory more easily. We have a strong preference for our team to live on the patch they service - primarily to maintain their wellbeing and work-life balance.

What will you be doing?

We're looking for someone who can develop and build meaningful and positive relationships with our Orthopaedic Recon customers. There will be the requirements to sell at times, and to offer expertise across the portfolio. Those healthcare professionals that you engage with day in and day out, will rely on you to offer advice, guidance and product knowledge.

What does success look like?

Success in the role will be determined by revenue and an improved service provision and efficiency in our business interactions with our customers. Much of this will happen in hospital theatre environment, and will assist with the ongoing support of our existing Smith+Nephew customers and help implement business in new accounts.

Ultimately it's about the safe and efficient clinical use of our products, helping manage stock and equipment and doing our bit to improve the customer experience with us.

Successful candidates would need the following:
  • Experience and understanding of the hospital environments (essential)
  • At least 2 years medical device sales experience - ideally within orthopaedics
  • Alternatively, you could be moving straight from a clinical role where you've had theatre experience
  • Experience delivering training and guidance to customers and health care professionals ensuring an outstanding sales experience
  • Consistent record of success in delivering for customers and patients
  • Comfortable with 80% domestic travel across the territory
