Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Overview: We are looking for talented individuals with a proven track record in managing and growing accounts within the software development industry. The ideal candidates will possess a blend of account management expertise, product ownership experience, and strategic acumen to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction. They will play a pivotal role in managing the entire product life cycle, from initial client engagement to post-sales support, while focusing on account penetration, upselling, and strategic account growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building strong relationships and understanding their business needs and objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, development, and marketing, to develop and execute strategic account growth plans.

  • Actively manage the product life cycle, from requirements gathering and prioritization to product launch and ongoing enhancement.

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling opportunities, expanding product usage, and delivering value-added solutions to clients.

  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, providing expert guidance and recommendations to clients to maximize their ROI.

  • Conduct regular account reviews and performance analyses to track progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Must possess a bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.

  • Preferred: MBA in marketing, sales or related discipline.

  • At least 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the software development industry or any other service-based industry.

  • Proven track record of successful account management and revenue growth in the software development industry.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of product ownership principles and experience managing the product life cycle.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
