Job description

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Head Of Partnerships & Business Development (Ecosystem) - candidates need to be based in US/Canada/LATAM.

New protocol, nearing launch, straddling the worlds of web3 (Ethereum, then beyond) and digital payments. This role demands deep knowledge and enthusiasm about both. You’ll work closely with product, marketing, and company leadership to recruit and support key partners, inform strategy and accelerate our roadmap. You’ll need to be relentlessly creative and optimistic — hustling the $#!% out of any potential opportunity to build our influence and maximize serendipity around the project.

As Head of Partnerships & BD at Eco, you will:

  • Grow our product and partner ecosystem (The Ecosystem...) through protocol launch and beyond
  • Be a face of our protocol and our product, and an expert on both of them, to partners and customers throughout the web3 space
  • Develop the foundational components of our business development capability, including the development of team processes, the requisite tech stack, the goals for us, and more
  • Build relationships with relevant prospects and stakeholders to ensure that the business development pipeline is generating conversions for our protocol at a high pace
  • Develop a strong pipeline of partnerships for our protocol, driving growth with user activity, volume, and product development
  • Ensure rapid expansion into new markets that align with product and business goals and allow for a healthy, forward-looking growth of our products 

Requirements

Strong experience within the web3 space and a high proficiency in business development

Experience in building and scaling business development functions from zero to one

Proven ability to grow product and partner ecosystems

Highly proficient with business development tech tools and other general digital organizational tools (e.g., Notion, Slack, etc.)

Successful experience as a tech startup operator in a business development leadership role with significant achievements
