✎ Mission 

Reporting to the Profitability Team Lead, you will, as a Profitability Actuary, be responsible for managing the profitability and results of partner portfolios.

 

Your main missions:

  • Be the technical referent on the partnership portfolios for which you are responsible;
  • Carry out pricing development work on these partner portfolios, in conjunction with the Business Development teams and direct partners;
  • Manage the profitability of these portfolios through dashboards and additional analyzes carried out ad-hoc, and alert in the event of deviation by being a force for proposing possible corrective actions;
  • Present the results of your analyzes to internal bodies and to partners;
  • Contribute to provisioning work in conjunction with the Reserving team on the portfolios for which you are responsible;
  • Contribute to Wakam's cross-functional projects alongside other team members.

 

 Profil
  • Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Data Science.
  • A first experience on non-life solutions including profitability topics, would be ideal 🙏
  • You have already used traditional P&C tools: linear models (EMBLEM, AKUR8 or equivalent), open-source programming (Python, R), and you have notably already been exposed to machine learning models and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc).
  • Fluency in English & French is essential (spoken and written)
  • Taste for teamwork and project management 
  • Good communication and prioritization skills
