Description

Facilitate virtual clinical training for new scribes at assigned facilities and/or implementations for new accounts. The Virtual Implementation Trainer will participate remotely for the duration of the implementation and will work shifts and train new scribes in accordance with ProScribe Clinical Training Guidelines (CTG).

To be considered, your availability must allow for you to work the following shift needs. You must be able to work the full duration of the 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Central Time window of time. (If your schedule does not allow for you to fulfill the shift needs, please reapply at a later time once your schedule is more open).


Shift Needs:

  • 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Central Time: Preferably Monday-Friday or Monday-Sunday. Both virtual-only and virtual-and-travel opportunities are currently available.

Essential duties include:

Support the company mission through the following responsibilities:

  • Virtually participate in clinical training for new employees as necessary for existing and/or new accounts.
  • Ensure new employees successfully complete and progress through clinical training in accordance with ProScribe's Clinical Training Guidelines (CTG) for each training day.
  • Provide coaching to providers to ensure appropriate utilization of scribes.
  • Facilitate provider and scribe workflow/rapport by providing guidance and recommendations during clinical training.

Ensure compliance and excellence through the following responsibilities:

  • Compliance with CTG; Follow evaluation process by providing documentation which demonstrates competencies for each trainee.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance audits by observing scribe performance.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders through the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Implementation Specialist/Site Supervisor to establish provider preferences.
  • Will be assigned implementation projects based on ProScribe’s operational needs
  • When not assigned to implementation, will work as Medical Scribe and trainer at assigned facility; May work shifts, perform quality assurance evaluations, or other training needs as necessary within scope of responsibilities.
  • May be assigned other tasks and responsibilities as required to ensure assigned projects and/or implementations are completed timely and at the highest level of quality.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; College Sophomore status or higher required
  • Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
  • Ability to obtain proof of vaccinations as required by specific site
  • Typing speed 45+ WPM
  • Ability to fluently read, write, and understand English
  • Excellent time management, coordination, and communication skills required
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently, manage workload, and meet deadlines required
  • Part-Time Flex:
  • With part-time hour preference: Available to work two shifts per week (16-24 hours per week) for a minimum of 6 consecutive months
  • With full-time hour preference: Available to work three shifts per week (32+ hours per week) for a minimum of 6 consecutive months
  • Ability to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours
  • Ability to understand HIPAA regulations and appropriately maintain confidential patient and client information
  • Ability to observe and to draft a narrative account of events accurately and cogently, in grammatically-correct English
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and related software applications
  • Ability to learn and appropriately apply basic medical terminologies and techniques taught and used on the job.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, highly-stressful environment that routinely involves exposure to highly-sensitive personal medical issues.
  • Ability to problem solve under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate and interact professionally with others.
  • Understanding of and commitment to appropriate protection of confidential patient information.
  • Commitment to high professional ethical standards.
  • Must possess personal computer manufactured within last 4 years and access to high speed internet (Minimum internet bandwidth of 20 Mbps Download / 8 Mbps Upload)
  • Residency in a state approved for virtual work with ProScribe
